We close from the Friday before the August long weekend until the Tuesday two weeks later. The big coiler gets torn down and re-shimmed, I go up to the lake, and Paulo pretends he isn't going to come in and tidy. If you know you'll need springs in August, tell me by the first of July and I'll wind them before we go.
We're also shut from 24 December to 2 January, when the coilers get a rest and so do we. Notes sent over the holiday are read when we open again in January.
